Window Shutter Details

What is important is that the correct measurements of the windows will need to be taken as follows, preferably with a laser measuring device:

• Measure the width of the window or door at 3 different positions, vertically.
• Measure the height of the window or door at 2 different positions, horizontally.

The manufacturer prefers to have these measurements drawn up on the actual house plan. The manufacturer will embed the window shutters into the plan and return back the opening arc etc for the home owner to decide if they are satisfied with the opening and closing of the window shutters. Please note that the manufacturer is not responsible if you don't provide the correct measurements as this is crucial to get the best fit for the windows and doors. In some instances you may need to use an electric sander to shave off the brick work so as to make the window shutter fit in well as most brick work are not perfectly straight. The installer of the Wooden Window Shutters will be familiar with how to get the best fit.
